Going oop North

Going to visit Big Pig's family next weekend, looking forward to seeing them.... getting raaat excited about seeing little sister's new hoose...

And about seeing everyone of course....

Yeah this melancholy thing - I couldn't quite work out whether it was good or bad and then I came to the conclusion that it's not really happy or sad - wistful really is the perfect word - I looked it up and it means:

1. Full of wishful yearning.
2. Pensively sad; melancholy.

That's it. Introspective, slightly moody a bit sad in a thoughtful way. In fact, wistful.... missing the Big Pig and knowing that he's faaaar away and busy and missing people too...

Well my new career as an eater is coming on well. Had a heeuge amount to eat today and have also been enjoying a bit of the Pinot Grigio (which as the BigPig's sister says is light, appley and fresh with a hint of melon). Very nice, in fact I may have some more - and a cake and maybe a sandwich, and whilst I'm at it a cracker wouldn't go down at all bad...

Hmm, I could be a few pounds heavier when you see me next.

Almost finished the fence. God I wish I hadn't started it! It's so damn fiddly getting in between all the bloody planks. Well I ran out of paint now so I'll have to finish it tomorrow.

I also managed to get to the gym and do my new programme which went very well, I'll know more tomorrow when I see if I can move (not to mention the effects of painting the fence).

Oh well, the BiggusPiggus is not online and isn't getting texts so I'm going to have to call and see where he is and then watch cheesy film no 2. One of the Australian faction is online but I can't tell who - no replies yet... will perhaps investigate further...

Cheesy film no 1 is Centre Stage and Cheesy film no 2 is The Company (I think, hadn't heard of it before). Both dance films and that's what I'm watching them for - not the story line, which is a good job.

Right train tickets to book, a large Pig to locate and food to eat (wine to drink and film to watch) so that's it for now...

Wistful

Found the word for how I feel. Neil's back from Seattle in a week and a half (or so) and now that it's not so long being on my own it's easier to see that my melancholy mood has been wistful...

Also found my new career as an 'Eater'. From now on I will be eating like a hobbit. Got to get fit and now that my back is strong enough for me to go to the gym I've been given a grueling programme!

Sure, it's probably just a walk in the park for most but for me it's a major step up from: 'move shoulder blades down. Move shoulder blades up. Repeat.'

Had nice night out with Jane and Justin last night - had Tapas, lovely!

Oh well, I don't have time to talk now, it's time for second dinner...
